Harrisonburg Police Investigating Robbery of Residence
Harrisonburg Police Department Press Release
On Feb 5, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Myers Avenue for the report of a robbery that just occurred.
On location, officers determined that an unknown male made entry into the residence. The offender encountered a resident, displayed a gun, and robbed the occupants of the house. Miscellaneous belongings were taken from the victim.
The suspect was last seen wearing dark colored, baggy clothing with some form of head cover on. Suspect also appeared to be between five-feet, eight-inches and five-feet, 10-inches tall and of medium build.
Lt. Chris Rush, Division Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division, is encouraging anyone with information in reference to this crime to contact the Criminal Investigations Division of the Harrisonburg Police Department at 540-437- 2640.
