Press Release
The Police Department has identified and charged the two individuals involved in the January 28th larceny from Walmart. Numerous callers identified Jason Blair Swink, 38 years old of Greenville, and Debbie Jean Denise Szachitowski, 39 years old of Waynesboro, as the suspects. Blair was arrested on January 31; he was freed on bond. Szachitowski is still at large. Both have been charged with one count of grand larceny.

The Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying two suspects who stole a Gateway desktop computer valued at over $400.00 from Walmart, 116 Lucy Ln, at 9:15 AM on January 28, 2013. The two suspects, a man and woman, parked their vehicle in the store's fire lane. They entered the store, loaded the computer in a cart and left through the grocery side entrance/exit. They left the parking lot in an older model van with a rusted roof.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017. Information given to Crime Stoppers may be given anonymously. Callers with information that lead to an arrest in this case are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
