The case against a former Albemarle County Boy Scouts leader will go to trial.
Monday in Albemarle Circuit Court, a grand jury indicted 49-year-old David Watkins on one count of forcible sodomy.
Investigators say the incident happened in 2005 with a victim under the age of 13 and involved both oral and anal sex. Watkins led a Boy Scouts troop in Keswick from 2002 to 2008. Authorities say the scout is now an adult.
Watkins is being held at the Albemarle - Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond. His trial is now slated for April 2.
