UVA Win Streak Ends With 66-60 Loss At Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech became the first ACC team to score more than 60 points against the Virginia men's basketball team this season, as UVA lost 66-60 in Atlanta Sunday.

The defeat snaps a four-game winning streak for the Cavaliers.

The Wahoos (15-6, 5-3 ACC) led 57-48 with 8:12 to go, but the Yellow Jackets scored 18 of the game's final 21 points.

Joe Harris scored 18 points for Virginia, and became the 44th player in team history to score more than 1,000 points for his career.

Akil Mitchell had his eighth double-double this season, scoring 13 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Virginia returns to action Thursday, as they host Clemson at 7 pm.
