The James Madison women's basketball team rallied to come back from a 15 point deficit to defeat William and Mary 68-63 in Colonial Athletic Association action Sunday at William and Mary Hall.
The Tribe would go on a 9-0 run and got as close as four, 58-54, with just 6:23 to play, but JMU would net the next 6 points to seal their 68-63 victory.
Freshman guard, Precious Hall scored a team-high 19 points for the Dukes.
Junior guard, Kirby Burkholder out Turner Ashby had her fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Burkholder also played scrappy and tacked on a team-high 4 steals.
JMU improves to 14-7 overall and 8-1 in the CAA and they maintain sole possession of second place in league standings.
The Dukes continue conference play Thursday as they host UNCW at 7 PM.
