Three people who face racketeering charges in Augusta County have their cases working slowly through the courts.
Twenty-three-year-old Shaun Adam Sams, 24-year-old Curtis Allen Wimer and 21-year-old Brittany Nesselrodt appeared in court Monday morning.
Sams, Wimer and Nesselrodt are accused of being part of an ongoing criminal enterprise that engaged in a variety of offenses - potentially including drug trade and counterfeiting.
Sams was set for a two-day jury trial this week, but it's been delayed until June.
Wimer and Nesselrodt waived their right to a speedy trial Monday. Their cases will be scheduled in July.
If convicted, they all face possible life sentences.
