Virginia Tech Falls 77-70 at Clemson

The Virginia Tech men's basketball team falls to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in the ACC, after a 77-70 defeat at Clemson Sunday.

The Hokies trailed 12-0 in the first half, but held a 59-58 advantage after a lay-up by Robert Brown with just 4:43 remaining in the game.

That would be their last lead.

The Tigers would pull away in the remaining minutes, despite a game-high 25 points from the nation's leading scorer Erik Green.

Virginia Tech has lost 6 of its last 8 games, and will host Miami Wednesday at 9 pm at Cassell Coliseum.
