The Virginia football team beat Penn State 17-16 in Scott Stadium in their second game of the season, as the Nittany Lions missed a game-winning field goal as time expired.
The teams were set to play a rematch in 2013 at Beaver Stadium, but that will no longer be the case.
Multiple outlets are reporting Penn State has dropped the Cavaliers from its schedule, and will instead play Central Florida on September 14th.
The against UVA game could be rescheduled for another season, but the Wahoos must now find another opponent to fill the open date on their schedule for this year.
UVA already has one FCS school on the schedule this season, as they will host VMI.
