The Virginia swimming and diving teams beat Virginia Tech and Wisconsin in the tri-meet Saturday at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
The #10 UVA women topped the Hokies 214-151, and the Badgers 182-176. Wisconsin beat Tech 237-133.
The #11 Cavalier men were victorious against the #17 Hokies 202.5-167.5, and Wisconsin 185-163.
Virginia Tech defeated the Badgers 204-155.
Jan Daniec (3:55.16), Brad Phillips, and Chris Webb took the top three spots in the men's 400 IM, and Daniec also won the 500 free (4.25.70).
Senior Lauren Perdue won the women's 200 free in a time of 1:47.44, while junior Caroline Kenney was second.
Kenney won the 500 free in 4:49.07.
Virginia will be back in the pool February 16th and 17th, as UVA hosts the Cavalier Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
That will be the last home meet of the season for the 'Hoos, and the last home meet ever for the seniors, including Olympic Gold Medalist Lauren Perdue.
