The Charlottesville Ballet is showing off its new facility Saturday night at a Hard Hat Fundraising Gala.
Friday, dancers practiced for their gala performance, which will be a toast to their new home in Charlottesville.
The gala will be catered by Little Red Hen with drinks from the Whiskey Jar. They will also have a silent auction.
"You'll see a sneak peak of the entire space. It is about 70 percent complete of the phase one project, it's a 30 by 50 foot studio, which is actually the exact size of PVCC, which is where the company performs so you'll get to see the sneak peek, see what we've done, see what we still need to do, really see the opportunity to create a great dance space here in Charlottesville," said Emily Mott, a ballet co-director.
The showcase of the company and its new space kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday.
