CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - The University of Virginia's student-run journal of public policy is hosting a national conference for similar journals from universities around the country.
Officials say that students from more than a dozen schools including Cornell, Duke and Georgetown will be in Charlottesville for the 3-day conference that begins Friday.
The National Journal Conference for Schools of Public Policy and Affairs will feature discussions on writing about public policy. Pulitzer Prize winning author and U.Va. Miller Center forum chair Douglas Blackmon is scheduled to give the keynote address on "Journalism that Impacts Policy."
The conference is co-sponsored by the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration.
