Commissioner of the Revenue Announces Retirement

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Lee Richards, Charlottesville Commissioner of the Revenue, has announced the he will not seek reelection in 2013.

Mr. Richards began working with the City of Charlottesville in 1974 in the Treasurer's Office. After attending graduate school, he returned to the City in the Commissioner of the Revenue's Office in 1979.

He was first elected Commissioner in 1993.
