It's been over month since the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. As part of a tribute to Sandy Hook, some kittens in the valley now have very special names.
Cat's Cradle has named 20 of its kittens after the 20 children who died during the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. These kittens can be adopted for $50, half the regular $100 price tag.
The organizer says the idea is for the other fifty to be donated to the families affected by shootings in Connecticut.
"Nothing that we can do here will make any of the pain go away. We understand that. All I'm hoping for is that the families... they will receive some of these donations. They will see where it came from and they will see that people across the country care about them. Their hearts are still with them," said Matt Chan on Cat's Cradle.
