The 11th-ranked Virginia wrestling team put together a dominating performance on the mats this weekend, beating ACC rivals North Carolina and Duke.
The win against the Tar Heels came on the road Friday, while UVA returned home to blank the Blue Devils 38-0 Sunday.
The shutout is the first for the Cavaliers since 2010, and head coach Steve Garland says his team is looking to finish the season strong.
"The first thing I said to the guys after the match is, 'You looked great, but guess what? We absolutely have to remember everything matters. Every day counts. It's all cumulative to the end of the season.' Our goal is to win out, and we want to be in the Final Four."
UVA will host NC State Sunday at 1pm at Memorial Gymnasium.
Three of the Cavaliers next four matches will be held at Mem Gym.
