The UVA women's basketball team picked up a big win this weekend, as Virginia beat Miami 62-52 Sunday.
The 'Hoos led the entire game, and improved their record to 4-3 in the conference.
The Cavaliers had four players score in double figures, including Ataira Franklin, who led the team with 17.
Just like the Cavalier men, the Wahoo women shot well from 3-point range, hitting 60 percent of their shots from behind the arc.
"That's not always going to happen," says head coach Joanne Boyle, "but the girls are getting in the gym, and they're getting shots up, and they're feeling more comfortable. I think, as a team, and their chemistry, when they are feeling good about their team, and where they are, and they trust each other out there, I think those shots just fall down a lot easier."
Virginia returns to action Thursday at home against Boston College.
