UPDATE: Charlottesville City Council passed the towing ordinance which sets standards for tow truck operators. They now have to provide a photo showing why a vehicle was towed.
ORIGINAL: Charlottesville city councilors will talk towing Tuesday night.
A towing advisory board has spent several months creating a list of suggestions for Council to consider.
The ordinance report will go before Council at its Tuesday night meeting. Members of the board agreed on every suggestion except for one: the suggestion that towing operators have to get written consent from a property owner before towing a vehicle.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
