UVA Student Council: Legislators Should Not Reappoint Dragas

The University of Virginia Student Council is joining the voices calling for board of visitors Rector Helen Dragas to go.

The council voted unanimously to tell legislators in Richmond that it doesn't want them to reappoint Dragas.

Neil Branch, the council's vice president, says Dragas "acted in a clandestine manner to force the resignation of University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan in June."

UVA's Student Council consists of 225 students.
