The James Madison women's basketball team won for the 6th time in its last seven games, as JMU beat William & Mary 82-52 Thursday night at the Convocation Center.

Tarik Hislop led all scorers with 21 points, while Kirby Burkholder had 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Former R.E. Lee star Angela Mickens tied a career high with 8 points, and set a new personal best with 4 steals.

The Dukes opened the game against the Tribe on an 8-0 run, and never looked back, leading by as many as 31 points on four separate occasions.

James Madison (9-7, 3-1 CAA) returns to action Sunday at Georgia State.
