The Virginia football team has received a non-binding verbal commitment from Monacan High School linebacker Connor Wingo-Reeves Sunday.
Wingo-Reeves is listed as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com, and originally committed to Temple in August.
The 6-foot-2, 222-pound linebacker also played tight end for the Chiefs last season.
On his twitter page Sunday, Wingo-Reeves said, "After talking it over with my family I have decided to decommit from Temple Univeristy [sic] and accept a scholarship to play at UVA Go Hoos!"
National Letter of Intent Signing Day is Wednesday, February 6th.
