Hislop Three-Pointer Gives JMU 68-65 Win

Tarik Hislop hit a three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left in the game, as the James Madison women's basketball team beat Northeastern 68-65 Saturday at the Convocation Center.

The senior point guard had 19 points in the victory.

The Huskies' Jewel Tunstall had scored two of her game-high 23 points to tie the game at 65 with 32.9 seconds to play, capping off a 9-1 Northeastern run.

JMU was led by Kirby Burkholder with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Precious Hall had 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

James Madison (8-7, 2-1 CAA) wraps up the three-game homestand Thursday, as they host William & Mary at 7pm.
