Students at the University of Virginia head back to school Monday and a new Android app could make it easier for them to find their classes.
It's called "Campus Nav", or at UVA, "Grounds Nav".
Students enter their course schedules and click on a course for a map or step by step directions to that building. The app even has street view so students can make sure they've made it to the right place once they arrive.
Third-year UVA student Daniel Nizri created the app.
"With a new semester of classes, new buildings, if you don't know your way around it should be an easy way to figure it out and first years would always appreciate it because I remember being lost a bunch of times not knowing where buildings were," Nizri said.
It already has 500 downloads.
He also made versions for Penn State, Bucknell, Northeastern, Boston College, and Tufts.
Niziri plans to make an iPhone version this semester.
