Family and friends of a missing Charlottesville man held a rally and march Saturday night to take a stand against discrimination toward transgender people.
The 'Take Back the Night' event started in Forest Hills park to get the word out about DaShad Smith.
He was last seen nearly two months ago on West Main Street.
The group held signs to express their anger about violence and desire to find Smith.
Police have named a person of interest in the disappearance but haven't found him.
Investigators are combing through a Richmond-area landfill for any clues.
