Senior guard Erick Green scored 28 points, and the Virginia Tech men's basketball team came from behind to beat Georgia Tech 70-65 in overtime Saturday in Atlanta.
The victory snaps a four game losing streak for the Hokies (10-6, 1-2 ACC).
Virginia Tech trailed by as many as 11 points in the 2nd half, but held the Yellow Jackets without a field goal over the final 7 minutes of regulation.
The win is the first in ACC play for first-year coach James Johnson.
The Hokies return to action next Saturday at home against Wake Forest.
