UVA Midfielder LaPierre picked No. 2 in 2013 MLL Draft

Virginia senior midfielder, Chris LaPierre, has been selected number 2 overall in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Hamilton Nationals.

LaPierre's has been honored twice as an All-ACC team member, he was a USILA defensive midfielder, and third-team All-American in 2011.

LaPierre is the 16th Cavalier to be drafted in the first round.
