UVA Women Win 62-51 At Georgia Tech

The Virginia women's basketball team won an ACC game on the road for the first time this season, as the Cavaliers defeated Georgia Tech 62-51 in Atlanta.

Senior Telia McCall scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The double-double is the second of her career, and the second in the last two games.

Junior Kelsey Wolfe added 17 points, while senior Simone Egwu pulled down 15 rebounds.

Junior Ataira Franklin scored 16 points with five assists and three steals.

The Cavaliers (10-5, 2-2) never trailed against the Yellow Jackets.

UVA returns home to host NC State Sunday at two o'clock.
