A late rally by the Virginia men's basketball team came up short Wednesday at Wake Forest, as the Cavaliers lost 55-52.

UVA has dropped 10 games in a row at Joel Coliseum.

The 'Hoos (11-4, 1-1 ACC) held the Demon Deacons without a field goal over the final 10:22 of the game, but were unable to come back from a 46-32 deficit.

Freshman Mike Tobey led UVA with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while junior Joe Harris added 13.

Virginia will be back in action Saturday, as they travel to face Clemson at noon.

The Cavaliers game against the Tigers will be shown on NBC 29.
