Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash near Crimora Wednesday morning. The accident occurred around 8 a.m. and involved three vehicles, including a tow truck.
State police say the tow truck had just turned onto southbound Route 340 when it was hit from behind by a Chevy Blazer. The truck was pushed into the northbound lane, where a Volvo struck it head-on. Route 340 was closed for about an hour.
All three drivers avoided life-threatening injuries, but the driver of the Blazer was charged with following too closely.
