Bomb Threat at Charlottesville Waffle House - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

A bomb threat was called at a Charlottesville restaurant late Tuesday night.

By midnight, Charlottesville Police were on the scene at the Waffle House on 5th Street Extended.

The restaurant was evacuated, and officers checked the building but found nothing suspicious. The Waffle House reopened about 40 minutes later.

The source of the threat is still under investigation.
