Tuesday business owners are getting help finding funding at an event in Charlottesville. The Central Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted a financing workshop at CitySpace.
People learned about small business funding - from microloans, to large project loans and crowd sourcing. The goal is to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses by getting more capital.
"This is important because businesses that are growing need access to capital, and so this is a place where we can bring resources together and they can see it all in once place and talk to the representatives from those groups," said director of Central Virginia SBDC Nora Gillespie.
