One of central Virginia's biggest Christmas lights displays is coming down.
Jeff Spinello, whose Fluvanna County house was a musical winter wonderland this year, started taking down the decorations Sunday.
He and a team of family and friends brought down stars, thousands of strands of lights, and football fields of extension cords. But, he says all this work is well worth it.
"It was the best year ever," said Jeff Spinello, lights enthusiast. "We had people from all over, Virginia Beach, Greene County, there were people that were calling the gate saying they drove two hours to see it so we let them in and it was incredible the amount of traffic out here every night."
This season's display was such a hit that Spinello and his wife are not only planning for next Christmas, they're looking forward to summer too.
They plan to have a red, white and blue musical lights display for Fourth of July that will benefit disabled veterans.
