James Madison women's basketball (7-6, 0-1), opened up Colonial Athletic Association play as they took out North Carolina Wilmington 60-39 at Trask Coliseum.
Turner Ashby Graduate, Kirby Burkholder, scored a game high 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the Dukes.
Red shirt senior guard, Jasmine Gill snagged a career and game-high 12 rebounds.
Underclassmen showed up big against the UNCW as well.
Sophomore Forward, Toia Giggetts, had a season-high 11 points.
The Dukes improve to 50-9 against the Seahawks all-time.
JMU will return home Thursday to battle it out with Drexel at 7 p.m.
