The Jefferson Madison Regional Library (JMRL) is helping prevent kids from getting bored over winter break by offering a unique perspective on film and literature.
The JMRL Northside Library invited children into the world of Hugo Cabret Saturday afternoon during its series – ‘Books on the Big Screen.' The library showed Martin Scorcese's film "Hugo," based on the book "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" by Brian Selznick.
The library served popcorn during the big show, and set out books that went along with the film for kids to check out after the screening.
