Delegate Landes to Hold Three Town Hall Meetings and Announces Release of Legislative Survey
WEYERS CAVE – Delegate R. Steven Landes, R-Weyers Cave, will hold three town hall meetings for the 25th House District. The meetings will be held in Stuarts Draft, Harrisonburg, and Crozet.
"I look forward to hearing from constituents at these three town meetings as we prepare for the 2013 General Assembly Session," Landes said. "It is important to me as an elected official to listen and learn of citizens' concerns prior to session, and town meetings provide an excellent opportunity to do so."
The first town meeting will be held jointly with Delegates Ben Cline and Dickie Bell on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Guy K. Stump Elementary School, 115 Draft Avenue, Stuarts Draft.
The second town meeting will be held jointly with Delegate Tony Wilt on Saturday, January 5, 2013, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Rockingham County Administration Building (Entrance A), 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg.
The third and last town meeting will be on January 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Dining Room at The Lodge at Old Trail, 330 Claremont Lane, Crozet.
Delegate Landes has also mailed out and posted his annual legislative survey on his website at www.stevelandes.com. You may either complete the survey online or return the one you receive in the mail by January 14, 2013.
Landes represents the 25th House District, which includes parts of Albemarle, Augusta, and Rockingham Counties. Landes was first elected in 1995 and is now serving his ninth term in the House.
