UVA Women's Basketball Loses in Double OT at Alabama 73-70

The UVa women's basketball team lost a heartbreaker at Alabama Friday afternoon 73-70. There were nine lead changes in the game and the contest was tied ten times.

Alabama forced a second overtime when they hit a game-tieing three pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining in the first overtime. Kelsey Wolfe led the 'Hoos with 16 points in the loss. Simone Egwu added 11 points with 7 rebounds. Sarah Imovbioh had 9 points.

Virginia falls to 6-4 with the loss. The Cavaliers' next game is December 28th against Norfolk St. in the Marriott Cavalier Classic.
