UVA Students Memorialize Newtown Victims on Beta Bridge

As the nation reflects on the massacre in Newtown, students at University of Virginia are memorializing victims in their own unique way.

Beta Bridge on Rugby Road is painted green and white, with bold letters spelling "hoos for Newtown."

Also painted on the bridge are initials representing the 20 children killed in the mass shooting. Newtown schools reopened Tuesday for the first time since Friday's fatal shootings, which took the lives of 26 people.
