Police Search for DaShad Smith in Henrico County

Charlottesville police took their search for a missing person to Henrico County Monday. Investigators searched the Old Dominion Landfill for any evidence in the disappearance of DaShad Smith.

Police say Smith is transgender, and also goes by the nickname "Sage." He was last seen on November 20 near the Charlottesville Amtrak station.

Investigators are also looking for Erik McFadden, who was supposed to meet Smith the same night he disappeared.

Police have not said what prompted their search of the Henrico County landfill.
