The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) wants some early feedback on the $4 million plan to replace an aging bridge in Augusta County.
The span carries Route 250 over Whiskey Creek near the village of Churchville. Contractors will replace the deteriorating bridge, which dates back to 1929.
Although construction is still more than three years away, VDOT is hosting a public hearing on the designs for the project. It runs from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Churchville Elementary School.
