Bike Hits UVA Bus - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

A bicyclist hit the back of a University of Virginia bus Monday afternoon.

It happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Stadium Road and Jefferson Park Avenue in the Charlottesville.

According to Virginia State Police, the bus was making a left turn when the bicyclist did not stop in time and hit the bus.

Police say the driver of the bus is not at fault.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital, but there is no word yet on his condition.
