Clinic Gives Free Treatments in Exchange for Gift Donations

A Charlottesville therapeutic clinic gave away free treatments Saturday. All customers at Pain Free Performance had to do was bring in a gift for a teen in need.

The clinic's Christmas tree was surrounded by presents by the end of the day's sessions, and the event organizer says they raised more money for teens than expected.

"Everybody just came out and donated their time and we believe that every wish was fulfilled from every teen, foster teen angel and plus an extra $50 gift card for their families," said Cindy Meyers, event organizer.

The donations will benefit the teens in the Albemarle County social services system, who will receive their gifts on December 14.
