Virginia Organizing Holds Forum on Mary Baldwin’s Looming Fiscal Cliff

Virginia Organizing held a fiscal cliff forum at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton Tuesday night.

Members gave a presentation describing what the fiscal cliff is, followed by a question-and-answer session.

A man who lives in Greenville said he just hoped to get a balanced perspective.

"I've been hearing some people say that the fiscal cliff doesn't really exist, that's it's been hyped up by right-wing-type commentators. So I'd like to get a little more open information on that, to see both sides of the story on that," said Tom Trykowski.

Virginia Organizing also encouraged those who attended the meeting to be active in reaching out to their senators and representatives.
