JMU Women Fall 70-66 Against Richmond

The James Madison women's basketball team lost 70-66 at home against Richmond Sunday.

JMU trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half, but fought back to take a 61-60 lead on a Tarik Hislop basket with 2:44 remaining in the game.

The Spiders' Rachael Bilney knocked down a three-pointer at the other end, and Richmond never trailed again.

Kristina King scored a career-high 29 points for the Spiders.

The Dukes were paced by Tarik Hislop with 22, and Kirby Burkholder (Turner Ashby) with 14.

JMU (3-4) has lost three-straight games against Richmond

James Madison returns to action Tuesday at home against Liberty at 7pm.
