Two weeks after being named the suspect in his wife's murder, a Waynesboro man has not yet been arrested for it.
Twenty-three-year-old Karen Tait was murdered in September 2002, her body found in a West Virginia state forest.
Investigators finally identified her last month. Soon after, they filed a murder charge against her husband, 52-year-old Thomas Neal Tait.
Police say they're working with the governor's offices in both states to obtain a warrant for him. That should happen in the next week or two, and Tait will likely be taken to West Virginia to face the murder charge by the end of this year.
Tait is already jailed on child pornography possession charges.
