The Charlottesville Craftacular is in full swing. Twenty-one central Virginia artists are selling their wares at CitySpace.
The seventh annual craft fair features handbags, jewelry, ceramics, and artwork. The event benefits the Piedmont Council for the Arts.
Organizers say it is a chance for them to give back to the council, which supports them year-round.
Artist Cary Oliva said, "I enjoy making everything you see here and I love just sharing it with all different types of people so you know we're all about the same thing. We all make things from our hands, from our hearts, and we're all happy that we keep it kind of local."
The Craftacular runs until 7:00 Friday night and it will be open again from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at CitySpace in downtown Charlottesville.
