Augusta Man Faces Felony Sex Charges

An Augusta County man is behind bars accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl.

Richard Lee Poole, 47, of Stuarts Draft faces a total of nine felony charges, including aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties. Investigators say the offenses may have gone on for as much as a year, at a home in the southern part of the county.

A relative of the young victim reported the alleged crimes, and Poole was arrested several days later.
