Central Virginia Boy Scouts are ready to help you pick out the perfect Christmas tree.
The troops opened pop-up Christmas tree shops around Charlottesville Sunday to sell trees and raise some money. They have trees for sale along Route 29 at Better Living Building Supply, the Pantops Shopping Center, Barracks Road and Zion Crossroads.
The Christmas tree funds will help the scouts pay for summertime trips.
Sean Desmond with Boy Scout Troop 75 said, "We're trying to support our troop and our scout accounts and basically that helps us do things for Boy Scouts like go on really cool trips next summer. For example, we're going to Sea Bass in Florida and we're raising money for that."
The Christmas trees range from $35 to $80. The troops will continue selling them until Christmas, unless they sell out before then.
