A group of University of Virginia fraternity brothers are running for a cause, and they won't stop until they get to Lynchburg.
The group of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) members are running from Charlottesville with a game ball for Saturday's UVA-Virginia Tech game. They're running to raise money for cancer research.
Those runners will hand off the ball to Virginia Tech runners in Lynchburg. From there, the Hokie runners will take the ball to the game in Blacksburg.
"Two or three guys at a time are going to run the ball. Whenever they get tired there will be a call for someone else to hop off the bus and go take the ball from them and continue it so it's kind of a relay type thing all the way there," said Clark O'Bannon, FIJI president.
The money raised will go to the V Foundation.
