First, you have to consider insurance, and what doctors might accept your plan.
"Some physicians take some types of insurance; some physicians take other types of insurance," stated Sheffer.
You can also narrow the field by looking for doctors close to home. And, of course, there are your personal preferences too.
"…male or female doctor…a physician who might have special interest in sports medicine…and who may even like to play tennis… we can make a match if we have that information provided to us," said Sheffer.
Whether you're looking for a pediatrician, family practice doctor of a specialists, such as a cardiologist or orthopedic surgeon, don't let the process get in your way of finding someone who can help you feel better.
