Augusta Teen Behind Bars After Mobile Home Shooting

An Augusta County teenager is behind bars after deputies say he shot up a mobile home with people inside.

The charges against 19-year-old Justin Lam include four counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

It happened around 6:30 Monday night on a private lane off Lyndhurst Road.

One of the occupants actually exchanged gunfire with the suspect, striking Lam's pickup truck several times.

A deputy stopped the truck a short time later and arrested Lam.
