A car took a wrong turn into the side of a Charlottesville fast food chain Sunday. A gaping hole was left in the side of the Burger King on Barracks Road after a white Honda ran into it.
Police say there were three women in the vehicle. Two passengers in the car were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with minor injuries.
Police say the driver may have accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to slam into the side of the building. The accident remains under investigation.
There is no word at this point on the extent of damage to the building.
