The Virginia Tech football team broke its away game losing streak as they topped their ACC rival, Boston College 30-23.
The Hokies were down 23-20 with one minute left in the game and Cody Journell kicked a field goal that sent the game into overtime.
Logan Thomas struck first and nailed Randall Dunn with a 7-yard touchdown pass to put the Hokies up 30-23.
The Eagles would try and fight back - but they could not convert a first down.
Thomas completed 16 of 33 passes for 247 yards.
Virginia Tech improved to 5-6 and their hopes for a bowl game are still alive.
The Hokies will need to beat rival UVA next weekend to be bowl game eligible for their 20th consecutive season.
